Bournemouth's Poppy Appeal

21:37

"TO THE MEMORY OF THE FALLEN AND THE FUTURE OF THE LIVING"

You cannot escape the message that the little red poppy you pin on your shirt has, and what it means to the Service men and women that have fought and continue to fight for our country.

Something more than just a pin on your shirt every year, the poppy symbolises the memory of the fallen and the future of the living. This year's Poppy Appeal is right around the corner and here, in Bournemouth, this Saturday marks the beginning of a week long appeal led by the Royal British Legion.

Collections will be taking place from Saturday the 31st of October right through to Remembrance Sunday on November the 8th, so why don't you do your bit to help out?

This Saturday, venture down to Bournemouth Town Centre and join in and make the 2015 Poppy Appeal even better than before.

From 2 o'clock onwards, watch the RCA girls in action as we support the Royal British Legion by putting on a performance with our new squad. Donate, wear a poppy and support the veterans and their families who have and still to this day, protect our country.

We urge you to donate to the Poppy Appeal and any donation made, no matter how great or small, is more than appreciated.

We hope to see you support not only the RCA girls but also those who the Royal British Legion help as well as remembering those still fighting.

Thank you for reading.
